In from the Cold
The wind, the ice, the stinging chill of winter. What a relief when the heat in the car kicks in, or when we stomp the snow off our boots and shut the cold out behind us. But what about those who have no home; those who depend on the kindness of others to be allowed indoors for a few moments of relief?
At our Men's Mission, no one is left out in the cold. During these winter months, we open our doors early, make special exceptions, hand out coffee and warm clothes and partner with other shelters through a computerized communication system and a shuttle service in an intense effort to make sure everyone is taken care of. We also set up more beds - as many as necessary!
If you see someone who may be homeless, cold and/or hungry, please tell them to go to our Men's Mission. Being exposed to the elements is not only painful, it's fatal!!! Help us make sure no one is left out in the cold... Click here for cards you can print and give out.
